Josh Hamilton homered and had three RBIs in his second game since returning from injured ribs to pace the Texas Rangers to a 6-2 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Saturday night.

Hamilton hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning to give the Rangers a 3-2 lead. He added a sacrifice fly in the seventh for his 100th RBI of the season.

Vladimir Guerrero singled in a run in the seventh and Michael Young had three hits. Young also drove in a run with a fifth-inning sacrifice fly.

Neftali Feliz entered with two on and none out in the ninth and retired the side on three pitches to become the fifth Texas pitcher to record 40 saves in a season.

Rangers starter C.J. Wilson (15-8) allowed two runs and four hits in five innings.

The Angels scored both their runs in the first inning on run-scoring singles by Torii Hunter and Howie Kendrick.

Ervin Santana (17-10) took the loss for Los Angeles. Santana allowed five runs and nine hits in 6 1/3 innings.
