Astros 3, Dodgers 1:
Lucas Harrell pitched 7 1/3 sharp innings and J.D. Martinez hit a two-run homer as visiting Houston handed Clayton Kershaw his second loss in his last 21 home starts.

Harrell (4-3) allowed one run, five hits and walked three to earn his first career road victory as Houston - the second-worst road team in the majors at 6-13 -- won its fourth straight game and beat the major leagues' best home team (19-5). He recorded 17 groundball outs and didn't strike out a batter.

Brett Myers worked around a two-out single in the ninth to earn his 12th save in 13 opportunities.

Kershaw, the reigning National League Cy Young award winner, entered the game with 22 consecutive scoreless innings but Houston took a 1-0 lead in the first when second baseman Elian Herrera's throwing error allowed Jose Altuve to score.

Martinez's blast came with Jed Lowrie aboard and one out in the third inning to give the Astros a three-run lead.

Kershaw (4-2), who had won 14 of his previous 15 decisions at home, allowed three runs (two earned) and five hits. He struck out six and walked three.

The Dodgers scored when Wilton Lopez walked Jerry Hairston Jr. with the bases loaded and one out in the eighth inning before Fernando Abad struck out pinch hitter Ivan DeJesus and Fernando Rodriguez got A.J. Ellis to fly out.
