Mariners 8, Angels 6:
Kyle Seager drove in four runs and Mike Carp and Ichiro Suzuki knocked in two apiece to lead visiting Seattle.

Michael Saunders had three hits as Seattle scored all eight of its runs with two outs while beating Los Angeles for the second time in three nights.

The Mariners trailed 6-4 entering the sixth before Ichiro doubled home one run and Seager stroked a go-ahead, two-run single to center to give the Mariners a one-run lead. Ichiro added an insurance run with an eighth-inning homer.

Brandon League pitched a perfect eighth and Tom Wilhelmsen struck out Kendrys Morales – representing the tying run – to end it for his second save as Seattle completed a 5-4 road trip.

Morales hit a two-run homer to right-center field off Hector Noesi in the third to give the Angels a 4-2 lead. Seager delivered a two-run double in the fifth off Jerome Williams (6-3) to tie the contest at 4-4.

Morales and Howie Kendrick had run-scoring singles in the fifth to give the Angels a 6-4 lead.

Carp’s two-run double in the second gave the Mariners a 2-0 lead. Los Angeles tied the game in the bottom of the inning on a run-scoring double by Erick Aybar and a sacrifice fly by Hank Conger.

Shawn Kelley (1-2) pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief for Seattle.

Williams allowed seven runs – five earned – and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Noesi started in place of Felix Hernandez, who was scratched Tuesday because of back soreness. Noesi allowed six runs and four hits in four-plus innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Saunders went 19-for-39 (.487) over the nine-game road trip that concluded Wednesday. … Four of Morales’ seven homers have come against Seattle. … The Mariners are hoping Hernandez will be recovered in time to start Sunday’s interleague game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. … The Angels have six consecutive road games against National League teams on the horizon and manager Mike Scioscia plans to use Albert Pujols at third base to get the hot bat of Morales into the lineup at first base.
