Skylar Mays led the way with 23 points, and all five starters scored in double figures to help No. 25 LSU come from behind for an 82-78 win over Missouri on Tuesday night in Baton Rouge, La.

Darius Days had 20 points and 10 rebounds, Javonte Smart scored 15, and Trendon Watford and Emmitt Williams had 11 points each as LSU (18-6, 9-2 Southeastern Conference) bounced back from consecutive road losses to Vanderbilt and Auburn last week.

Dru Smith scored 20 points, Reed Nikko had 13, and Mitchell Smith and Javon Pickett contributed 10 each for Missouri (11-13, 3-8). Mizzou fell for the third time in four games.

Missouri led 43-37 at halftime, but Mays scored eight points as LSU started the second half with a 12-6 run to tie the score at 49. Missouri got inside for three layups to take a 56-50 lead.

LSU got within two, but Dru Smith converted a three-point play and Mitchell Smith made a 3-pointer as Missouri took an eight-point lead midway through the half.

Smart made two jumpers and a 3-pointer to help LSU get within two points with seven minutes remaining.

LSU pulled even before Days' 3-pointer gave the hosts a 72-69 lead with 4:46 left.

Nikko made a jumper, but Williams and Mays answered with consecutive layups that gave LSU a 76-71 lead with 1:54 remaining.

Pickett made a jumper, but Days answered with one of his own to give LSU a 78-73 lead with 25 seconds left.

Xavier Pinson made a layup for Missouri with 16 seconds to go, but Days sank two free throws with 11 seconds left for an 80-75 edge.

Dru Smith hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left before Smart sealed the outcome by sinking two free throws with one second to go.

Missouri took an early 12-6 lead as cold-shooting LSU went more than three minutes without a field goal.

Mays' three-point play ended the field-goal drought but Missouri led by as many as 12 points as LSU went six minutes without making a basket.

LSU got within three before Missouri built the lead to 12 points on multiple occasions.

Mays made a layup and Watford made two as LSU closed with a 6-0 run to get within six points at halftime.
