Chris Smith scored 20 points, Cody Riley notched 11 of his 15 points in the second half, and UCLA rallied from down 12 for a second consecutive game in its 67-57 win over visiting Washington on Saturday.

UCLA (15-11, 8-5 Pac-12 Conference) fell behind by seven points at halftime when Washington (12-14, 2-11) after on a 11-2 run to close the half. The Huskies' roll continued out of the locker room with five quick points, punctuated when Isaiah Stewart dunked in two of his 15 points.

But as it had when facing a 12-point, second-half deficit on Thursday against Washington State, UCLA played its best after digging a hole. Riley's big second half helped key the Bruins on the offensive end, while their defense held Washington to just 28.6 percent shooting from the floor in the half, including 2 of 12 from behind the 3-point line.

Smith, David Singleton and Tyger Campbell did their part on defense with two steals each. The Bruins' seven total steals contributed to 18 Washington turnovers, which UCLA turned into 25 points.

Down 39-27 after Stewart's dunk, the Bruins used an 11-2 run to get within three. They took the lead for good at 53-51 on Smith's 3-pointer with 6:11 to play, which was part of a 9-0 run.

UCLA shot poorly from the floor overall, but 17 of its 21 made field goals came via assists. Campbell led the Bruins' ball-movement efforts with six dimes. Smith added four to go with his game-high scoring.

Campbell also grabbed seven rebounds, matching Riley for a team-high. Singleton scored 14 points for the Bruins. Stewart led all players with 10 rebounds for the Huskies, and Jaden McDaniels scored 15 points in the loss.

With its seventh win in the last nine games, UCLA remains in the hunt for the Pac-12 regular-season championship. The Bruins sit just one game back of the lead in the loss column.

Washington -- which in November handed top-ranked Baylor what remains its only loss of the season -- has lost eight straight. The reigning Pac-12 regular-season champions sit in last place.
