Bryant Moniz threw for 520 yards and four touchdowns as Hawaii raced out to a huge lead and cruised to a 41-21 victory over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.

Moniz completed 42-of-58 passes in the WAC opener for both teams.

A week ago, Moniz threw six touchdown passes in the first half to set a school record as Hawaii beat Charleston Southern 66-7.

Greg Salas led the Warriors (3-2, 1-0 WAC) with 12 catches for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Kealoha Pilares was also busy for Hawaii with 15 catches for 197 yards and a score.

Louisiana Tech (1-4, 0-1) has lost four straight. It got a pair of touchdown passes from Ross Jenkins, who finished 19 of 25 for 215 yards.
