Wake Forest snapped the nation’s longest losing streak at nine on Saturday night in Nashville, Tenn. with a convincing 34-13 non-conference win over Vanderbilt in the season finale for both teams.

After allowing a field goal on the opening drive of the game, Wake Forest (3-9, 1-7 ACC) scored 24 unanswered points en route to a 24-6 halftime lead, one that was never threatened.

Josh Harris gained 138 yards on 18 carries and was one of four different Demon Deacons to rush for a touchdown as Wake Forest won for the third straight time over Vanderbilt (2-10, 1-7 SEC), which ended the season with seven straight losses.

Quarterback Jared Funk attempted 61 passes for the losing Commodores, completing only 27 for 277 yards including a touchdown, but he also threw two interceptions.
