Kellen Moore threw three touchdown passes and No. 7 Boise State beat a Southeastern Conference school for the first time with a 35-21 victory over No. 22 Georgia on Saturday in Atlanta.

Moore completed 28-of-34 passes for 261 yards and topped the 100-career touchdown pass plateau.

Moore’s 3-yard scoring pass to Tyler Shoemaker gave Boise State a 28-7 lead with 3:10 left in the third quarter. He also threw second-quarter touchdowns of 17 yards to Matt Miller and 12 yards to Kyle Efaw.

The scoring pass to Miller was the 100th of Moore’s career, and the throw to Efaw gave the Broncos a 14-7 lead with 48 seconds left in the half.

Doug Martin (7 yards) and D.J. Harper (1 yard) added second-half rushing touchdowns for Boise State. Georgia pulled within 35-21 on Aaron Murray’s 51-yard scoring pass to Malcolm Mitchell.

The Bulldogs struck first when star cornerback Brandon Boykin lined up on offense as a receiver and scored on an electrifying 80-yard run with 8:39 left in the first quarter.

Georgia also tallied on Murray’s 36-yard scoring pass to Orson Charles late in the third quarter.

Murray completed 16-of-29 passes for 235 yards.

Boise State was 0-4 against SEC foes, including a 2005 loss to the Bulldogs.
