Mike Ribeiro ended the contest by scoring in the third round of the shootout as the Dallas Stars rallied from a three-goal deficit to record a 4-3 triumph over former teammate Marty Turco and the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.
Defenseman Stephane Robidas collected a goal and an assist for Pacific Division-leading Dallas (31-18-6), which snapped a four-game losing streak with its second win in eight contests.
Captain Brenden Morrow netted his 24th goal of the season and Brad Richards tallied for his 11th point in 13 games for the Stars. The two also scored in the shootout.
Kari Lehtonen stopped 23 shots in regulation and overtime to improve to 1-3-1 in his last five starts. The 27-year-old Finn, who denied Patrick Sharp in the second round of the shootout, saw his season mark rise to 23-14-6.
Patrick Kane recorded one goal and two assists, Sharp netted his team-leading 28th goal of the season and defenseman Brent Seabrook also tallied as Chicago (28-22-5) scored the contest's first three goals.
Jonathan Toews notched a pair of assists to extend his points streak to six games. The captain has now collected a point in eight of his last nine contests.
The Stars' franchise leader in victories, Turco made his third start in five games and stopped 32 shots to fall to 11-11-3 on the season.
